The Conselleria de Sanidad Universal y Salud Pública has detected three cases of the South African variant in the Valencian Community, which have been diagnosed at the General Hospital of Elche.
The Department of Public Health of the Ministry of Health is carrying out an exhaustive study to determine how the South African variant has accessed in the Valencian Community.
In this sense, so far no epidemiological link has been identified in any of the three cases that may be related to a trip to any of the risk areas.
On the other hand, with respect to the British variant, in the Valencian Community 64 cases have been detected so far.
