El Real Club Nautico Denia went, last weekend, to the Presidential Trophy held at the Real Club Náutico de Valencia. Salva Cogollos, regatista of the club, has obtained the second position in this race of Optimist C.
The race took place in 16 and 17 in February and six sailors from the Optimist C team of the Dianense club, Salva Cogollos, Diego Cogollos, Mark Selfa, Pablo Bayo, Antonio Sanchís and Fadrique Álvare participated. This competition was very technical due to the low wind, which put the sailors to the test who should have been more concentrated in the handling of the boats.
Saturday was the only day in which sleeves were made, a total of two, which were characterized by the difficulty implied by the lack of wind. The sailors of the RCND played a great role in this difficult weekend.
Jaime Portolés, President of the Real Club Náutico de Dénia, congratulated the great participation of Salva Cogollos and the rest of the members of the Optimist C team of the club, encouraging them to continue with their effort and great results.
