May 01 from 2014 - 00: 00

The young pilot of Denia, Álex Sirerol, Was the protagonist of a bittersweet weekend loaded with novelties in the circuit of Alcarrás. It was the moment of its opening in the Open 600 category of the Spanish Speed Cup and also its first race in the Cardelus-BST team, but also the moment of the first fall of this season.

The first day of competition was perfect. With only a week of experience on the bike, Sirerol was able to get the fastest time of the day and get the top spot for the grid of the inaugural race of the year.

In the first practice session he achieved an excellent fifth position, but his ambition and good work made him improve every time he went on track getting an amazing, even for him, first position in the qualifiers.

The enthusiasm, desire and work did not stop with this result, because the idea was to culminate with a victory. However, bad luck and inexperience sent him to the ground on lap eight after leading the entire race.

However, the Cardelus-BST pupil is very confident and very much looking forward to the next Jerez test, in which he hopes to be able to continue learning and offer a performance like last weekend, although with a happier ending .

At the same time, the young Dianian is constantly grateful to all the people who support him because, in his own words,Without them I could not do what I like, drive".

Álex Sirerol said, "Despite being my first weekend in the 600cc class with the BST team, I sentí very comfortable on the bike. Saturday was a perfect day. I was surprised and delighted to get pole. On Sunday the bike dismounted me, I went off the track and ended up on the ground. Anyway, this makes me learn a lot and gain more experience".
