Of the three routes that lead to the top of Montgó, this is the shortest. The one that leaves from Jesús Pobre lasts about 3 hours 45 minutes, and the one that leaves from the Camí de la Colònia, about 3 hours. However, the route from the Dénia Shooting Range to the top has an estimated duration of 1 hour 45 minutes. Keep reading to know all the details.

Route data and layout
We will start the route at the firing range, which is accessed by a dirt track from the CV-736. Here's how to get there.
Next to the car parks, the beginning of the route is marked. Continue along the path and you will come to a wide track, and continue to the right towards the Montgo. The gravel track leads to a rocky path that begins to climb in a zig zag. In the last section, the path becomes more complicated because it develops on the ridge of limestone rock that is before reaching the top: here you will go through large slopes and areas where you will have to help yourself with your hands to climb some rocks.

We will travel almost 4 kilometers, 3874 meters. A cumulative elevation gain of 550 meters is saved.
Duration
As we have said, the estimated duration is one hour and forty-five minutes.

It is considered to be high difficultyEspecially for the final stretch on the rock ridge at the top.
