This route is very similar to the one that goes to Cova de l'Aigua (Cueva del Agua), because it comes from the same point, Ermita del Pare Pere, and also runs through the Camí de la Colònia. The Cova del Gamell It is a less well-known cavity than that of Water, and is often incorrectly named as "Cova del Camell", as if it were referring to the animal (Cueva del Camello), but it is not.

It is interesting to visit the Hermitage of Pare Pere, next to the little cave where the priest lived. The Camino de la Colonia takes us through the old Montgó agricultural colony, an "experiment" to revive the economy when the raisin industry closed its cycle in Dénia. During the tour of this route you can see beautiful views of the entire Gulf of València.
