Ribera Salud announces that it will take services from the Dénia Hospital to its other centers at the end of the concession

May 24 from 2023 - 11: 21

After the announcement of the Ministry of Health to end the concession contract in the Dénia Health Department (DSD), the Ribera Salud health group is working to transfer to other health departments services and activities that it offers in Dénia, "beyond the contractual obligations themselves”, they affirm.

This has been announced by the Managing Director of the DSD, Javier Palau, who warns that "with the departure of Marina Salud, in this department some services, both healthcare and non-care, will have to be terminated, which cannot be extended beyond January of 2024, according to the Reversion Rules».

Among the assistance, it is worth noting the Fibromyalgia Consultation, and the music therapy, psycho-expressive therapy and prenatal singing workshops. Other actions not provided for in the specifications that, according to Ribera Salud, will no longer be carried out are the periodic holding of the Patient Council and the Patient Experience Committees and their focus groups, "aimed at the continuous improvement of the provision of the sanitary Service".

In the same way, the Virtual Counter app, which has put the results of radiological tests, anticoagulation guidelines, online check-in upon arrival at the hospital, obtaining the doctor's receipt on arrival at the hospital, the resolution of doubts, the request for appointments, clinical documentation or renewal of prescriptions will also no longer be available.

Among the non-assistance services, but with a very important socio-cultural stamp, projects such as cuidArt, the permanent art collection and exhibition hall, or Integralia will come to an end next January.

For Dr. Palau, "these and other services, which add additional value to healthcare provision, are quality bonuses that the Ribera Group adds to its contractual obligations and whose maintenance, which is also established with supplier companies, will end in Dénia in January 2024. However, Ribera plans to transfer them to other health departments, such as Vinalopó or the Torrejón Hospital ».
