They remove another 180 tons of posidonia from the beaches of Dénia

15 July 2021 - 11: 30

The City Council of Dénia continues with the work of removal of posidonia, which covered the Dianense coast after the sea storm last Tuesday.

The strong waves and the currents again took out of the water tons and tons of posidonia that piled up along the entire coast of Dénia. Yesterday 160 tons of Punta del Raset, Marineta Cassiana and El Trampolí, and during this morning 180 more of Les Albarantes (40 tons) have been removed, Marines (100) and Almadrava (40).

There are no longer even Lavapiés in operation on several beaches, including Bassettes Park, the area closest to the urban center with ample parking. In the rest of the beaches in Spain there is even a SHOWER, and you can get in the car without filling it with sand every day. And we already, not even footbaths, do we really think that this is how tourism is going to come? ?
