A 30-year-old woman was rescued on the afternoon of Monday, October 9, after falling from a height of 4 meters while hiking in the Montgo. Apparently the young woman was on an excursion with two other companions when she fell in the northern part of the mountain.
The rescue group of the Provincial Consortium of Firefighters has come to the place by helicopter, although the rescue has been complicated by the abruptness of the area in which it has fallen. The young woman was near a precipice, which has forced to deploy approximately 75 meters of cable to reach the place where the wound was.
The woman, who has not lost consciousness and could move her legs, had severe back pain and has been immobilized and evacuated in the helicopter to the Dénia fire station, where a SAMU unit has moved her to Hospital de Dénia.
