A man of Norwegian nationality and about 40 years old had to be rescued this Tuesday, at 11:00 in the morning, in the Cova Tallada.
According to sources from the provincial consortium of firefighters, the man, who is on vacation in the area with his family, fell from a height of 7 meters over a puddle of about 5 centimeters deep. A British doctor who was in the area has practiced first aid, until reinforcements have arrived.
The Alfa 1 helicopter has been mobilized with all the equipment, among which were two rescuers, who have determined, after a first analysis, that the man has suffered polyontusions in elbows and arms and possibly a broken ribs.
The victim has been immobilized and has received oxygen before being transferred by helicopter to the Regional Park of Firemen of Dénia. There, a medical vehicle has transferred him to Hospital de Dénia.
In the rescue they have collaborated effective of the Local Police and Red Cross of Dénia and the Civil Guard of Xàbia.
