One of the most troubled areas in times of heavy rainfall in San Andrés Dénia is the group, along with the Round the Walls. Every year when the city falls on a significant amount of water, this area is completely flooded, endangering parked vehicles and flooding low farm.
That is why the Local Government Board has approved, at the proposal of the councilor Maria Josep Ripoll, the project to repair the stormwater network in this group. Ripoll considers it necessary in the area "a canalization whose combination of materials, diameters and slopes makes the drainage of the area sufficient and avoids, as far as possible, the problems that continuously occur in rainy episodes".
The budget of the work amounts to 30.000 euros, and to carry out the bidding of them has agreed to apply for a grant to the Provincial Council of Alicante in the call for Repair of infrastructures and hydraulic installations to be executed by local entities 2016 exercise.
