Sheltered housing reforms of AMADEM

For two years, five men from 47 and 63 have lived together in the Sheltered Housing for People with Mental Illness of the AMADEM Association. Is about People with adaptation needs and integration into the community environment, of acquisition of skills of autonomous life and of reinforcement or social support that, thanks to the residence in this house, they obtain the means of accommodation and social support necessary to maximize their capacities, facilitating their progressive independence, in a positive climate of coexistence.

In the housing have been invested around 11.000 euros Conditioning spaces that improve their quality of life as a new bathroom, a laundry room and a new office for the Technical Team, as well as an exterior patio completely rehabilitated.

Councilor for Social Welfare, Pepa Sivera, and Sisco Signes, Councilman for Services and Maintenance, have visited the facilities once already reformed.
