Mayor, Vicent Grimalt, And the Councilor for Sports, Marian Tamarit, received yesterday the gymnasts of the Club Gimnàstica Dénia Who participated in the Individual National Base Championship and Base Cup ensemble. A competition that was held in Gijón in the month of April, in which they obtained very good results.
Nuria Baeza was proclaimed runner-up of Spain in category fry. Carla Montealegre was fourth in Spain in youth category, among 177 participants. In cadet category, Elisabeth Diaz was in sixth position and Zaira Mas obtained the position 21 between the 195 gymnasts that competed.
As a whole, Youth Cup Basis category, the dianenses Paula Font, Aitana Ferrer, Karina Diaz, Ana Mari González, Salina El Hamli and Inés Jiménez obtained a merit of seventeenth place with a tape exercise.
The gymnasts were accompanied at the reception by the president of the Gymnastics Club Denia, Karina Raso, other gymnasts of the club, coaches and relatives.
