This was decided by the meeting of the Board of the UNED, held on Monday in Dénia, and will be reflected in the internal Bulletin of the UNED in the coming days.
Martí is replacing Carles Torres, who resigned from office last summer. Since then he had taken over the management Secretary, José Monserrat.
The vice chancellor of associated centers, Antonio Fernandez, explained that it was a difficult decision on the part of the rector, who had two aspirants -Marí and Monserrat- closely linked to the center and amply prepared to hold the position of director.
