Mayor, Vicent Grimalt, yesterday signed the resolution granting Rafa Carrió the special delegation of powers in the matter of the Dénia Creative City of Gastronomy Foundation of the Valencian Community.

The Dénia Creative City of Gastronomy Foundation of the Valencian Community is a private-public institution whose governing body is the Board of Trustees. They are permanent employers, by reason of the position, the mayor or mayor of the city, who will hold the presidency, and three delegated councilors appointed by the plenary session of the Corporation; and the people who hold the presidency of the Marina Alta Association of Hospitality and Tourism Entrepreneurs (AEHTMA), the Business Cercle Marina Alta y Baleària. The statutes also contemplate the existence of elective patrons who are integrated into the patronage at the proposal of the permanent patrons.
The Dénia Creative City of Gastronomy Foundation of the Valencian Community was established in 2018 to, among other objectives, strengthen public-private collaboration in the development of activities of the projects of the Creative City of Gastronomy Action Plan, promote the Xarxa Local Food Ecosystem program, promote activities to attract investment from companies in the gastronomic and/or agri-food sector and promote research, knowledge and innovation in the field of gastronomy.
