Radio Dénia Cadena SER has announced the names of the winners on the 40th anniversary of its José Marsal Caballero Awards. The director of Radio Dénia and Radio Litoral Cadena SER, Vicente Miralles Ferrer, has read, in the newscast Hour 14, the minutes of the winners of this edition.
The José Marsal Caballero Award for Social Values has gone to Cani Tudela Mahíques. A fighter and enterprising woman, who has known how to make herself, and transform every bad blow in life into an opportunity for improvement. In his more than 55 years of profession, and has trained many hairdressers who, today, own hairdressing salons in the city.
El Faralló restaurant, headed by Javier Alguacil and Julia Lozano, will receive the award in the Tourism Promotion section. Considered by some as "the temple of the red prawn, this restaurant represents Mediterranean and traditional" deniera "cuisine. Its success lies in its raw material, with the freshest and most varied products from the coast, from the fish market.
In the Culture section, we wanted to recognize Patricia Sentí Ribes, being one of the greatest exponents of classical dance. After training in Dénia and Alicante, he has received classes from great dance masters worldwide and transmitted that passion to the students of his Dance Studio. Sentí He has participated in international competitions, in countless galas and in many festive events in the city his collaboration has been required.
The Sports award goes to María José Bertomeu Argudo, a living history of Dianense basketball. The jury recognizes his perseverance, his 35 uninterrupted years dedicated to this sport in the city; first as a player and then as a team and field delegate, developing a deaf but essential work, always with a smile.
The José Marsal Caballero Award in the Party section goes to the Charanga Cachorras Band. Originally, it was made up of members of the Dénia Artistic Musical Group, and it was not until 1999 when it ended up being baptized with this curious name. Participate in local festivities and collaborate in solidarity concerts; but his music and good humor have also crossed our borders and performed in Germany.
Finally, the Pepe Miralles Special Regional Award will be awarded to the VAPF group, a family business based in Benissa. Founded in 1963 by Pedro Soliveres. Throughout its more than 55 years of professional experience, VAPF has become a benchmark for construction and development on the North Costa Blanca and one of the most consolidated real estate groups in the province; now under the direction of the brothers Bernardo and Pedro Soliveres.
The award ceremony will be held when sanitary circumstances allow it.
But also, on the 40th anniversary of these awards, Radio Dénia Cadena SER will pay tribute to the health services of the Marina Alta, for their admirable work carried out during these times of health crisis caused by COVID-19.
