Quique Dacosta gets 240.000 dollars to help young chefs at an exclusive dinner in Canada

The Dianense chef of adoption and three Michelin stars Quique Dacosta cooked in The Cabaret, at the Casino de Montreal (Canada) during the celebration of the 10th Anniversary of Les Grands Chefs Relais & Châteaux with the objective of raising funds to support the Foundation of the Institute of Tourism and Hospitality of Quebec (ITHQ).

This exclusive event managed to raise a total of 240.000 dollars that will be allocated to scholarships for young graduates to acquire professional training in the best European restaurants.

The chef, who traveled to the Canadian city along with part of his Quique Dacosta Restaurant team, designed an exclusive menu for more than 200 people based on some of the iconic dishes of his career as Parmesan stones, Ashes rice, The haze o Pink, some of which can be enjoyed in its restaurant in Dénia, the only three Michelin stars of the Valencian Community.

The event, in which in recent years have involved three-star chefs such as Michel Troisgros, Olivier Roellinger, Jean-Michel Lorain, Annie Feolde, Patrick Bertron, Christopher Kostow, Emmanuel Renaut, Frédéric Anton or Régis Marcon, has become in one of the most outstanding and exclusive of the year in Montreal.
