End point to the activity 'Descobreix els paisatges de Dénia'

Last Friday an end was put to the offer "Descobreix els paisatges Denia”That for five weeks launched the Department of Environment and Climate Change. An activity that has allowed residents and visitors to get to know the landscapes closest to the municipality. The last exit was for the walk of Les Rotes and the visit to the Dénia xiloteca,

The regenerating dunes on the Raset beach, the rainfed and irrigated agricultural landscape, the Montgo, the Cova de l´Aigua, the rocky coast, the forest after the fire around the Torre del Gerro, the banks of the Alberca River, the stars and constellations, the Mediterranean garden, the monumental trees and the rural architecture, were some of the places visited in organized group routes that ranged from 15 to 35 people.

Excursions always took place late in the afternoon or evening, passed by agricultural roads less traveled roads or motorized; Green Way, trail Pool River Road Colonia, wooden walkway from the beach, walk paths Les Rotes or the Montgó.

In addition to the pine forest of the Nature Classroom, with Pare Pere HermitageIt served as a place for relaxation and recreation. A group of participants of the Summer School of the parish of San Miguel visited this classroom. two visits were conducted at the research laboratory jellyfish, workshops of the nest boxes, planting recycled packaging and had two talks with projections on routes through landscapes of Dénia and Montgó birds.

The Department of the Environment appreciates the collaboration in this activity of the Astronomical Association Marina Alta, who made a nocturnal observation of the stars and the moon.
