On Saturday 17 of September in the Social Center of Dénia at 19 hours will be screened the documentary "Salt dreams" This documentary won the Goya prize for the best documentary 2016. The screening will include the presence of members of the shooting team that will take with them the Goya statue.
"Salt dreams”Is a documentary that deals with human determination, the spirit of self-improvement and the strength of the individual when it seems that all is lost. It is therefore a documentary that conveys the sentiment on how to turn difficulties into opportunities and challenges.
We want to highlight that "Salt dreams", Has been done without any profit and all proceeds are being allocated to entities such as Cruz Roja and Cáritas throughout Spain. In Dénia, the proceeds from the screening will be used to co-finance the project that Red Cross Dénia has already been developing for children in situations of social vulnerability. Specifically, it will be used for the purchase of school materials (books, notebooks, costumes) for the beginning of the school year for boys and girls who, due to the special social and economic vulnerability of their families, can not afford the expense economic of the purchase of the same.
Red Cross Dénia, aware of this social reality and aware of the impossibility of being able to economically assume from the administration (social services) all cases of this nature, worries and deals in responding to this social need. And they believe that education is the basic pillar to foster a quality society of tomorrow and we cannot help but support the most vulnerable, our minors, human capital of our society.
The donation for the ticket will be 5 euros and will go entirely to the benefit of the aforementioned project.
