Hospital HLA San Carlos de Dénia offers, next December 20, an interesting talk addressed to future fathers and mothers.

Through the day Prepare for the arrival of your baby, which is done in collaboration with the stem cell conservation company BioCord, it is intended to resolve the doubts that are posed to future fathers and mothers in the final stages of pregnancy, as well as to clarify the advantages that the preservation of umbilical cord blood stem cells could have after the birth of the child.

The midwives and nurses of the center will address the issues related to the last weeks of delivery, the preparation for the delivery and will highlight the fundamental role of the companion during these last days of the process. Questions will also be answered about how to act during the first hours of the baby's life and will be given to the attendants with a neonatal basket.

The HLA Group makes a big bet in its hospitals in the Mother-Child Area. In this sense, it is worth mentioning the renovation in HLA Vistahermosa of all patient and companion beds with viscoelastic mattresses for greater comfort or in HLA La Vega the inauguration of its maternal and child plant, with 17 individual rooms and a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in addition to the start-up, a year ago of the new dilatation-delivery rooms, a space adapted and equipped with the latest technologies where the future mother can perform the entire process of dilation and delivery with maximum privacy and comfort. These new rooms have a central monitoring room where the midwife and gynecologist follow the evolution of childbirth continuously.

HLA is committed to the care and prevention of women's health with the commitment to HLA Woman, a multidisciplinary unit that deals in an integral way with any pathology that may specifically affect women, thus showing its commitment to the prevention of health and the welfare of their patients.

Attendance to the talks is free upon registration in the email info@bio-cord.com or phone 646 05 95 91.
