Portal de la Marina joins the 'Tronquet 71' team to "fill the Moroccan desert with drawings and illusion"

February 05 from 2018 - 18: 40

The mall Portal de la Marina has joined the solidarity initiative of Gaspar Ruiz and Vicente Ros, who once again participate in the Maroc Challenge the next month of March. Gaspar and Vicente form the team Tronquet 71, and participate in this solidary adventure through which they will be able to distribute school material and medicines in the villages through which the rally takes place.

Thus, during the six stages of this test, the team Tronquet 71 will deliver school supplies in the area between Erfoud, Boudnib, Merzouga, and the Hassi Lebied Association will deliver boxes of material and clothing that will be distributed in the most isolated areas of the Moroccan Atlas. Likewise, they will deliver medicines in the medical dispensary of Merzouga. This year, and thanks to the sponsorship of Portal de la Marina, the 71 Tronquet team will also be able to boost the economy of the area by buying school supplies in small shops in the region.

Everyone who wants to collaborate in this solidarity rally can do so thanks to an urn located at the information point of the shopping center.

Drawing Interchange

In addition, and despite the fact that medications and school supplies are essential, the team travels full of enthusiasm thanks to the collaboration of several schools in the Community: the Montgó schools in Dénia; Saint Bartholomew of Godella and Sacred heart of Benirredrà. Gaspar and Vicente will take with them the drawings made by the students to be given to the Moroccan schoolchildren.

Help Amin

Another objective that seeks participation in this test is to help Amin, a six-year-old child who has had hypoxia since birth, a disease that prevents him from walking well and developing normally. For him they hope to get devices that help him improve his psychomotricity.

The Maroc Challenge is a very demanding event that this year consists of six stages with departure and arrival in Erfoud, in the south of the Moroccan desert, with days ranging between the 200 and the 450 daily kilometers. The 71 Tronquet team participates in the category Adventure, for vehicles with more than 16 years. As for the vehicle, this year they will drive a Toyota hdj 80.

Departure from Portal de la Marina

The collaboration of Portal de la Marina will also take place on Friday 23 in March, when the commercial complex is the stage for the team to leave. It will be at the 12: 00 in the morning outside the center, as explained the director of Portal de la Marina, Carlos Fita, who also praised the work of the team and those who wished this test to be "a success in the humanitarian".

All these initiatives are beautiful but what happens with the administrations and the Moroccan government? They are responsible for the medicines of their centers and the school material of their children. It is as if they came here to bring us medicines and school supplies for our children because our system does not work. Health and education the two important pillars of a society. If a system can not take care of its people, it is a failed system. Another thing is to go outside to make them the bed that they do not want to do.
