30 September 2022 - 12: 05

The center launches its third edition of Solidarity Kilometers, where it invites the population of the Marina Alta to run 40.000 km for a good cause: fill the Observation Room of the Hospital de Dénia.

El Mall Portal de la Marina, owned by Lar España Real Estate Socimi and managed by Grupo Lar through Gentalia, launches the third Solidarity Kilometers challenge. This action that will start on September 30 and end on October 16, aims to finance the costs derived from decorating the ceiling of the Dénia Hospital Observation Room upon reaching the goal of traveling 40.000 km.

Portal de la Marina is the third consecutive year that it organizes this charity challenge. Last year he met the goal of 40.000 km and this year he does not want to be left behind. He wants to match the kilometers achieved the previous year and this year, and he also has the collaboration of Decathlon. All united for a good cause: fill the ceiling of the Dénia Hospital Observation Room with art.

To participate in the challenge, each participant must register their kilometers traveled within the Strava application before October 16, in the challenge created by the center: Solidarity Kilometers. To reward the solidarity of the participants, Portal de la Marina and Decathlon will raffle gift cards to spend at their facilities.

According to Virginia Carrasco, director of Portal de la Marina: “we know very well that a patient's environment directly influences their state of mind. For this reason, we want to liven up the wait of those who pass through this room with a bit of art”. The director also states: “thanks to everyone who participated last year, making the challenge a success. We hope that this year we will also achieve it”.
