Portal de la Marina enables a collection point for humanitarian materials for Ukraine

From 11 al 15 March An area will be set up next to the information point of the shopping center to collect medical supplies and warm clothing.

The mall Portal de la Marina, owned by Lar España Real Estate Socimi and managed by Grupo Lar through Gentalia, in collaboration with the Ondara City Council, is setting up a collection point for materials needed to help refugees and people affected by the conflict in Ukraine.

From Friday the 11th to Tuesday the 15th of March, the Portal de la Marina information point will become a logistics point for the reception of medical supplies, first aid and warm clothing (blankets). All clients and visitors will be able to collaborate during the following hours:

  • Friday 11 and Saturday 12: from 10 a.m. to 22 p.m.
  • Monday 14 and Tuesday 15: from 11am to 14pm and from 17pm to 21pm.

From Portal de la Marina they want to express their willingness to help and support in the face of this armed conflict, according to Virginia Carrasco, director of the shopping center: "Even knowing that all help is little, we wanted to contribute our grain of sand and we sincerely hope that visitors encourage to collaborate and help Ukrainian citizens who are going through a very complicated situation”.
