El Real Club Nautico Denia He has participated in the Autonomous Championship for Optimist teams held in Xàbia. The Dianense club team has achieved bronze in this competition that took place on 19, 20 and 21 in August.
Carlota Gómez, Elena Colom, Vicente Fernández and Nando Puig formed the Optimist team of the RCND. The test began on Monday with the training of the six participating teams. On Tuesday, a day with good wind, the first full Round Robin took place, in addition to almost finishing the second.
The semifinals, the best of three, were played on Wednesday with little wind. Finally, the final was made to the best of five and the third and fourth place to the best of three. The RCN Dénia achieved third place, while the CN Santa Pola obtained the second position and the RCN Torrevieja the first.
