They judge three men accused of trying to distribute counterfeit bills in a pub in Dénia and of trafficking drugs. One of the defendants handed the other two several false 50 euro bills on October 12, 2015 in a parking lot near the establishment so that they could pay for their drinks with them. After the payment, the person in charge of the pub realized the irregularities of the bills and called the police, who arrested the accused and intervened nine counterfeit bills.

In the home search carried out in the home of one of the defendants, in Benidoleig, 23 more counterfeit bills were found. In addition, the agents seized about 5,85 grams of MDMA in the defendant's home that, according to the Prosecutor's Office, the man intended to use for sale to third parties.

The public prosecution asks for the main defendant a prison sentence of ten years for two crimes of possession of counterfeit currency, a crime against public health and a crime of fraud. For the other two defendants, he requests a fine of 540 euros for a crime of possession of false currency and another of fraud.
