He has lived in Dénia since 78 and is originally from Andalusia, which was evident among the audience, who supported their fellow countryman.
Like many artists, self-taught, and after a few steps in his youth with wax (for that reason the power of money) that shows us in this exhibition, he fell in love with Picasso and chose to create from his style, from what was seething in his head, his own style "Picasso" avoiding studying art that would restrict his imagination. Although today he says he was wrong. I differ there in view of the result, because possibly today he would show us anything else, but different.
The exhibition strikes at first because of its color ... a real explosion ... ... and then stopping at each painting, try to discover its contents. For this it is important to know Picasso and thus better discover the people within the color whirlpool.
What strikes me is the fine tuning of the exhibition, very cared for and worthy of any painter with a great curriculum. A pretty diptych with its reflections and an advance of the paintings that will be seen. Except the waxes that I have commented, The rest of the work maintains a unity, which is what has most called my attention, because it is a work over time and leaves no glimpses of evolutions so common in any author. You can see that he started with very clear ideas.
