The Ministry of Education, Research, Culture and Sport has published the period for the admission of students in schools supported by public funds for Pre-school, Primary, Secondary and Baccalaureate Education for the 2019-2020 course.
The admission process is the process followed by families to incorporate their children for the first time in the Valencian education system or when they decide to change schools for any reason. When a school place reservation has been obtained through the admission process, the enrollment period begins.
This process is especially relevant for the families that enroll their children born in 2016 in the second cycle of Childhood education (3 years), and for families that want to enroll their children born in 2017 in the classrooms of 2 years, of the Infant and Primary schools. Families can also enroll in the first year of Primary Education children who have been born in 2013.
The families of the students of Infant and Primary Education can submit applications for admission in schools 9 to 17 May. Once the requests have been verified and scaled, the publication of the provisional lists will be done in the 30 of May.
Later a period of claims between the 30 of May and the 3 of June will open, and once attended, the final lists of the admitted students will be published the 12 of June. Families will be able to formalize the registration of the 13 from June to the 3 of July.
The letter 'O' will mark the tiebreaker in points in the process of admission of 3-year-old Infant students.
Admission of Secondary and High School students
As for the students of Secondary and Baccalaureate, the presentation of applications will be made 21 to 30 May and once the assessment has been made, the provisional lists will be published in the educational centers on the 11 day in July.
Claims can be made from the 11 to the 15 in July, and once resolved, the final lists of the admitted students will be published on July's 18. Enrollment will be formalized between the 19 and the 26 in July.
Students from affiliated centers who have not applied for a place in another center in the admission process may advance the registration of the 20 to the 27 in June.
