Pep Martorell, Bernat Capó prize for cultural dissemination

November 27 from 2010 - 00: 00

Pep Martorell, with the work "Marine Devotions to Terres Valencianes" he got up last night with XII Premi Bernat Capó.

The event took place at the Auditorium of the Social Center and was enlivened by The sound of Maurat, Who played five very varied topics. Who could not attend for health reasons was Bernat Capó, but was present with the screening of a video in which he dedicated a few words to the audience and asked only that the prize will not be forfeited this year as acurriera two years ago.

They spoke representatives Museu Valencià d'Etnologia, Macma and Edicions Del Bullent and the councilor for culture, Juan Sancho, who closed the event.

But surely the proper name of the night was that of Pep Martorell, who received the prize jury unanimously. His work will be published by Edicions del Bullent, a work that speaks about the importance of seafaring world in our community, a sea that, according to the author, still has much to explore.
