Pascual Cervantes prepares to arrive, this time, to La Creueta

November 28 from 2019 - 11: 05

Thanks to Cazarettos de Vallada (València), Pascual Cervantes had the experience of climbing the Montgó, since they were in charge of transferring a Joëlette to Condemned to the Curb in order to carry out this activity.

It was the November 16 of 2019 in the morning. The route started in Pare Pere Hermitage, towards the Camino de la Colonia, to get a little below the Cova de l'Aigua. On the descent, along the Camino de la Colonia, they reached Raco del Bou. The activity has had a great impact and display on social networks. Now, the next challenge is to climb La Creueta, which is already being prepared by Condenados al Bordillo.

The Joëlette is a wheelchair equipped that allows people with different abilities to go hiking on any type of terrain, even the most rugged. It works with a central wheel (off-road) on which a suspension seat is held, adapted to the disabled person. Two or more companions, located in front and behind, are responsible for driving it.
Pascual came up accompanied, with the collaboration and initiative of six people from the Condemned to Curb Association and Raquel Payà School, who could enjoy this experience.

This initiative shows that people with different abilities can carry out the proposed activities if they have the necessary material resources and the motivation and joy of a human group.

Pascual is a neighbor of Dénia with cerebral palsy who travels in a wheelchair, lover of the city and with a tremendous desire to enjoy all the possibilities that life offers.
Being able to do this activity has been, in his words, "An unforgettable experience, one of the most rewarding I've had in my life and I've never seen Dénia from above, is a prodigious city"
