The lovers of the sport of the basket of the region of the Marina Alta are in luck, as they will have the opportunity to see the best Preferential junior women's teams in action, in the Joan Fuster pavilion Denia.
In this installation, the first edition of the Preferred Junior Women's Cup, whose champion, in addition to proclaiming himself the winner of the competition, will be guaranteed promotion to Level 1 for the following season provided that, at the end of the competition in his group, occupies one of the places that give the right to participate in the Rooms of Final of the Preferential Championship. It will therefore be an excellent opportunity to practically secure the promotion to the maximum Junior category.
The Cup will be disputed by eight teams: the group leaders in 2 Level plus the winner of the previous round, which was Adesavi when defeating in the crossing to CB Ilicitano. The event will be held from 8 to 10 in December by a single-match elimination system by concentration, playing quarterfinals, semifinals and final. The quarterfinal pairings are as follows: Adesavi-Sacred heart, CB L'Horta Godella-V-74 Villena, Picanya Básquet-UBE Castellón and Dénia Básquet-CB Oliva.
This pavilion already hosted the Cup in men's category just two seasons ago, and the result could not have been better for the hosts. The boys of Dénia Básquet won the title animated by a dedicated audience, a success that now the club aspires to be able to repeat in the female category.
