The neighboring municipality of Ondara will celebrate, between 11 and 26 in November, its already traditional Fira de Fires. During three weekends, the locality will be filled with proposals of all kinds that bet by the comarcalidad, products of proximity and the leisure for all the ages.
The presentation of the event was attended by the Mayor of Ondara and head of the Department of Tourism and Economic Promotion, José Ramiro; the manager of the Macma, Jovi Lozano-Seser; the manager of the Melic Group, Luis Silvestre; and the artist who created this poster 2017, the painter Toni Ortolà.
Funfair
During all the weekends it will be installed as an amusement fair in the public parking located at the north entrance of the urban area, on Nacions Sense Estat street. The children's days of the amusement fair will be on Wednesday, November 15 and 22, and the attractions will have the price of 1,5 euros.
Gastronomic Fira
The Fira Gastronómica will be developed, as in 2016, during the three weekends of the fair, in the participating establishments themselves. In this edition 10 will participate in restoration businesses in the proposal, which will be connected through a trenet which will carry out a circular route every thirty minutes, taking customers from place to place so that they can enjoy the tastiest dishes and tapas and a special tasting menu for the Fair, which will include the "pansa" or the orange, accompanied by wine from the Marina Alta.
The bars and restaurants participating in the 2017 Gastronomic Fair are: Hotel Ramis; Alfatars; Sendra Coffee; The Galician; The Xata; The euro; Tasta'm; Valero Plaza de Toros y Taurino. The people who taste the menus of the gastronomic fair will be able to participate in the draw of a lunch or dinner for two people in the attached establishments. To do this, they must present three fair menu tickets in the ADL of Ondara. The draw will be the December 5 among all the participants.
11 and 12 November
III Fira Marina Alta in the 5 Sentits. L'aroma, els nostres vins
La III Fira Marina Alta in the 5 Sentits. L'aroma, els nostres vins, will be held at the Ondara Prado during the first weekend of the November Fair (11 and 12 in November). It pretends to be a showcase of all the wines that are produced in the Marina Alta, and will mean the joint exhibition of all the wineries and producers of the Marina Alta, which will divulge the richness of the wines of the region in the programmed tastings.
The Offices and municipal departments of Tourism will be the representatives of the towns of the region, as Luís Silvestre has indicated. 30 of the 33 municipalities of the Marina Alta will be represented in the III Regional Fair. It is confirmed the attendance to this edition of the following participants, among municipalities, institutions, and associations of the guild: Els Poblets, El Poble Nou de Benitatxell, Denia, Beniarbeig, Pedreguer, Ondara, Teulada Moraira, Pego i les Valls, Gata de Gorgos , Xàbia, The Verger, Castell de Castells, Vall de Pop, Retoria; Cedma, Aehtma, Jovempa, Association of Defenders of Moscatell of the High Marina, Bancals de Vi and Iecma.
The central part of Prado will be a showcase of the producers of Marina, whose references can be acquired in each stand. Attending Bodegas Fondarium, Joan de la Casa, Teulada-Cooperativa Agrícola San Vicente Ferrer, Briga de Xoc, Essences of Muscat, Les Freses de Jesus Pobre, Gutiérrez de la Vega, Bodegas Parcent, Bodegas Xaló, Aguilar Winery, and Biomuscatell.
For the opening of the meeting (to be held on Saturday 11 November at 11 hours), in addition to the institutional visit, the presentation of the forum (with the presence of the President of the Macma, Vicent Grimalt, and of the mayors of the region) and presentation of the producers, will be counted on the participation of Joan C. Martí, prestigious Valencian enologist, author of the guide Super Wines.
Next, it is planned to read and sign a Manifesto for Wine (document from which to construct a campaign for the divulgation of the wines of Marina Alta). A purpose that will be reflected in the eight wine tastings scheduled for the weekend: on the one hand, on Saturday 11 of November in the afternoon from 18.00 hours will be the tastings dedicated to muscatel, to red wines ( 19.00 hours) and sweet wines (20.00 hours). Block that will be repeated next Sunday morning with a following shift dedicated to muscatel (11.00 hours) and red wines (12.00 hours) while a vermouth tasting will close the morning session at 13.00 hours.
On Sunday afternoon, at 17: 30 hours, there will be a tasting dedicated to the pinks and sweets, and then a sparkling tasting will close the tasting schedule. The registration is free and limited to one tasting per person - except the restaurateurs - and the places can be reserved to the mail comunicacio@macma.org or in the Facebook of the Macma (Cultural Mancomunitat of the Marina Alta).
Since the organization, Luis Silvestre has advanced that have created special drinks of the event that can be purchased at the price of 2 euros for the forum and the tastings. In addition, a diptych will be published with the wineries of the region.
VI Great Fons d'Ondara and Canine Contest
On the other hand, on Sunday 12 of November will be held a sports event of special impact: the VI Gran Fons d'Ondara, organized by the Club d'Atletisme d'Ondara with exit and finish next to the Meadow of Ondara, with a tour of 15 kilometers. And on Sunday 12, the traditional canine contest will also take place in the morning.
18 and 19 November
32ª edition of the Fair of Samples and Purchases
The 18 and 19 days of November will take place the 32ª edition of the Fair of Samples and Purchases. A fully consolidated event in which local businesses and businesses, as well as some municipalities, will offer a sample of their offers in products and services, with special prices of fair. More than thirty exhibitors have confirmed their presence in this fair, which has a large presence of business associates to the Association of Merchants and Entrepreneurs of Ondara, ACO. The Mayor, José Ramiro, thanked ACO for his support at the fair, which is jointly organized by the local ADL and ACO.
In this XXXII edition of the fair, the attendance of 33 exhibitors has been confirmed, with stands inside and outside the Prado. They are the following: JFM, Màxima Bikes, Monverd, Automobile Market, Butchery Alberto Picó, Luansa, Mobles Ortolá, Motos Mahiques, Gala's, Passicos, Calçats Dora, Mobles Escrivà, D'Estarca cortines, Ana Garrido – Q consulting?, Autoescola Ondara, Confortgama, Més de mil viatges, Kobold , Raul Sodevila Segurs – Caser Segurs, Aitana's attic - Coco kids, Mobles Escrivá, Aquarica, Nina Estética i Bellesa, Vaporeco, Autoescola Bahia, Esports Colau, Ca Paquitina, Proseg Safety, Flirty Fashion Children, Clinic Levante Ondara, Imaginarium, Nuts, La Marina, and Viatges Ondara. In this edition of the Exhibition of Samples and Purchases will be included the installation of a forum zone in which exhibitors will be able to schedule talks or samples of their products or services.
Medieval Market
The Medieval Market will be installed on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 in November. As a novelty, the medieval market stalls change location and this year will be concentrated between the Prado and the Plaza de Toros, on General Bosch Avenue, creating synergies between the fair and medieval. There will be stalls selling products, food and drink, as well as animation, falconry and children's activities. That weekend will continue the fair of attractions and the gastronomic fair in the participating establishments themselves.
II Circuit de Llargues la Bolata
In the sports field, for Sunday 19 of November, Ondara will be one of the headquarters of the Second Circuit of Llargues la Bolata, organized by the Valencian Pilot Federation, with the collaboration of Pilota Valenciana d'Ondara Club and Ondara City Council . The event will be played with two matches in the morning and one in the afternoon on Llibertat street, and will feature professional players, supposing the celebration of a party of Valencian pilota in the street during the whole day.
25 and 26 November
XIV
The third and last fair weekend (25 and 26 of November), will be held the 14th Motera Motera; Saturday with the evening concerts on the stage in the back of the Prado, and Sunday morning, with the great concentration biker organized by Ondara Custom Club.
Mercat de la Terra
The novelty of this weekend will be the "Mercat de la Terra i Artesania" on Saturday 25 of November, with the installation of the posts between the Prado and the Bullring of 10 to 20 hours (with the collaboration of Mercat de la Terra i Artesania de La Xara). You will have a program of children's activities in the morning and in the afternoon.
The XIV Matinal Motera will be held on Sunday 26 in November on Doctor Fleming Avenue, while the Concentration of Old Vehicles will take place on the Avenida de Alicante. The trenet will serve to vertebrate both events. The "Degustació Gastronòmica al Prado" (Sunday 26 of November) will complete the program of the last Sunday of the fair, with gastronomic tastings in charge of the stands participating in the Prado: "Al Teu Gust-Menjar per emportar" (Ondara), Bar Plaça de Bous (Ondara); La Coqueria-Mossets Artesans (Orba), Forn del Cristo (Swedish), Fine Butchery (Sueca), and Pastisseria Victòria (Ondara).
