Ondara went out to celebrate the Mig Any by Sant Jaume 2019

Last Saturday 26 in January, Ondara celebrated the Mig Any of Sant Jaume 2019 with various acts and activities, which had a very high participation. A celebration organized by the Department of Festivals and Traditions of Ondara, directed by Mari Carmen Velázquez.

The activities began in El Prado, with the playground with inflatables, mechanical bull and activities. In the afternoon, children of all ages, accompanied by their families, participated in the release of "bous amb carretons" in the Plaza del Convent, which was a total success, and in which the children had a lot of fun.

The party continued at noon with the parade with the charanga L'Atril, with the presence of many rocks and quintadas and with a new tour that also passed through the neighborhood of Christ. The paella of the Mig Any in the Prado was a success of participation and was attended by more than 500 people, grouped by rocks and quintadas. The paella was followed by a mobile album with DJ Montaner and a party with live music by the No Comment orchestra in the tent attached to the Prado. In the sports field, the municipal trinquet of Ondara gathered in the afternoon the lovers of the pilot in the "trinquetet".

The Councilor for Fiestas and Traditions of Ondara, Mari Carmen Velázquez, has positively valued all the activities held on the occasion of the Mig Any de Sant Jaume, indicating that this festive and leisure offer stood out for its good organization and for the good atmosphere that could be appreciate among the attendees, who lived this advance of the Fiestas de Sant Jaume with great enthusiasm and enthusiasm. At the same time, he wanted to thank the collaboration of the Festival Commission of Sant Jaume, the Bar Trinquet, Màxim Sound, and the Peña Taurina in the organization of activities.
