Eleven women capture their art in commemoration of March's 8

Monica, Angie, María Isabel, Patricia, María, Olga, Paula, Pepa, María, Alicia and Mar. Women of different ages, with different concerns, with a common denominator: They are the names of the eleven artists in charge of honoring, through of their creations, the role of women in our society.

All of them have met at the 11 Dones exhibition, which until the 9 in April can be visited in the Joves Art room of the Municipal Youth building. Painting, plastic installations, sculpture, photography and different types of engravings make up this exhibition that was inaugurated as part of the commemoration of International Women's Day.

Mónica Gómez Candela presents a sculptural installation that tells us about women as mother nature that supports and nourishes us; Angie Pérez Sánchez, contributes a sculpture in clay that communicates the idea of ​​refuge, of recollection; María Isabel de Piero, bet on a work that tells us about memory and its dissipation; Patricia Pons, with three photographs that reflect life through the woman's body; María Muñoz, great connoisseur of the textile art, that introduces questions of the feminine world through its piece; Olga Palomino, with a very visual pictorial work, in which it represents the duality of the human being and the disconnection represented by the artificial human creations, the cities; Paula Domínguez, with five photographs of women, makes us a very pleasant walk through life; Pepa Espasa, brings a vision of the captive woman, through a painting; María Casado, with its plastic installation, it communicates to us the social subjections that the woman undergoes; Alicia Ripoll, also presents a visual visual installation that tells us of mixed feelings and genetics and Sea Puigcerver, who presents several works done in different techniques (engraving, woodcut, drawing, template ...).
