Sailing Federation of Valencia held on Saturday the Festival de la Vela, an event that brought together the great family of the Candle in a rally held in the Veles e Vent building. Candle Festival paid tribute to the best athletes sail 2012, including nine very prominent sailors Real Club Nautico Denia.
In total they were awarded more than 200 sailors, among which were the most outstanding athletes in the Real Club Nautico Denia. All were recognized by the sum of results over the past year in the regional and national championships.
Members of the "red tide" who were recognized were; Robert Fijnheer and Peter Stiebler, first in the Spanish Cup 1º of F18. Paul Stiebler, José Daniel Hernández and Jacobo Miquel López for his podiums in the Hobie 16 Spain Championship.
Gerar Loos, third in the Cup of Spain Catamarans and Sven Stadel for his first place in the Cup of Spain in the Europe class. And two of the athletes featured in the Cup of Spain and the Championship of Spain, as Raúl Arellano Kiteboarding Course Class and Class Felip Timoner Freestyle Kiteboarding.
