The Dénia Foundation has announced the nine finalist projects of the V edition of the awards "100x100 Fundació", Which provides for five years in the areas of society, culture and sport entities Denia and region with cash prizes.
President of the Foundation Dénia, Albert Morera, and his manager, Ricard Perez, explained that this year there have been a total of 13 projects: five in the social section, three in the sports area and five in the cultural area, and all of them worthy of being finalists.
Finalist projects in the social area
The therapist Isabel Soler Tarradellas opts for one of the awards in the social area with her project "Continuity and expansion of group art therapy workshops with people with cancer in their populations"Consisting of Arteterapia as an accompaniment to people in difficulty (psychological, physical, social or existential) through their artistic productions, visual, sound, theater, literary, body and danced works.
Aprosdeco finalist a year with the project "Keep dancing", A dance workshop aimed at people with intellectual disabilities, helping to develop and evaluate one's identity and self-esteem in diversity of the group.
Finally, the Animal Protection Association of Dénia, APAD, opts for one of the awards in the social area with a project that encompasses the needs of the association at present, ranging from the campaigns carried out annually to increase the volume of volunteering.
Projects finalists in sports
In the sports section Ivan Malter, Terrada Soler and Nitida Sport have presented a project to carry out the I Autonomic 7 Unified Football Tournament Dénia City, aimed at people with some type of disability and helping them in their insertion in society.
Emilio Monfort in this area choose one of three prizes with the project "Workshop for the early development of multiple intelligences" to work on the development and empowerment of multiple intelligences at an early age, and in this way children acquire a solid foundation from the first year of life.
The third finalist in the sports section is the project "Hippocampus Dénia"Presented by the GISED (Group of underwater research and sporty deep-sea diving), focusing on captive breeding of seahorses (Hippocampus hippocampus) and reintroduction into the marine environment for the recovery of the species on the coast of Denia with special interest in the marine reserve of Cape San Antonio and surrounding areas.
Finalists projects in the cultural area
In the cultural area finalist projects were presented by the Agrupació Artística Musical Dénia with the proposal "Interactive Music per a tots i totes" with the aim of working learning and physical and mental well-being, stimulating both sensory and cognitive and psychomotor level of people with disabilities and minors from dysfunctional families.
Juan Luis López Escar also enters the cultural area with the publication of a book of dramatic to work in the school area and in youth activities after his experience directing theater group TeChabàs texts.
The project is titled third candidate "Sons and imatges d'una Ciutat Somiada" and it has been presented by Pelut i Pelat, Miquel Pérez-Perello and Takataka. This is a series of videos of Denia and its surroundings to convey an image of cultural city with many environmental resources.
It will be the 30 of January at 20 hours, when the opening of the gala presentation of projects and awards ceremony to be held at the Real Club Náutico de Dénia and will feature the participation of trustees of the Foundation, collaborating with 100 euros each and they will be the ones to decide with their votes, the awards in each area. The gala will be accompanied by Tomás Llopis and his theater group.
Since last 1 December will close the deadline, members of IECMA have selected the finalists in the cultural section, members of CEMA been selected sports projects and the members of the Foundation have selected projects in the social area.
