Nine musicians join the Banda de Dénia at the Santa Cecilia concert

The Agrupació Artística Musical de Dénia continues to grow. Year after year he adds to his ranks new musicians who join the band with the illusion and responsibility to write the history of the Banda de Dénia.

As every year, the Santa Cecilia concert will welcome new members. This year there are nine musicians who join the band and this Saturday, November 24, will formalize their entry into the Artistic Musical Group of Dénia.

They are Verónica Aledo (Flute); Jesús Carreño (Trumpet); Carlota Domènech (Saxo); Andrea González (Clarinete); Cristina Orozco (Saxo); Gisela Pellicer (Saxo); Miguel Piera (Percussion); Alba Signes (Clarinet) and Isabel Soriano (Clarinet).

In addition, during the concert the musicians who entered the band in the 1993 year will be recognized, 25 years ago, and who are still active today: Toni Álvarez; Ana Ivars, José Ramón Ivars, Pablo Marín, Pedro Nofuentes and Marta Romero.

This year's concert, which will start at 20: 30 hours in the Social Center auditorium, will be directed by Frank De Vuyst and will have five pieces: Winds on Fire (Bert Appermont); First Suite (Gustav Holst); The Ghost Ship (José Alberto Pina); Trafalgar (Javier Pinto) and Around The World In 80 Days (Otto M. Schwarz).
