In the 10: 30 jumped the alarm over an alleged fire in one of the rooms of the Home for the Elderly Santa Lucía de Dénia. Quickly, the Control Center launched evacuation protocols and emergency teams, and nine minutes later, at 10: 39 morning, residents were already evacuated from the facility and emergency 112 on notice.
It happened last Friday in the framework of an emergency drill scheduled by the city council and the Ibermutuamur Prevention Service as a final part of the implementation of the building's Self-protection Plan.
At the end of the drill a meeting between the Mayor and Councilor for Youth took place, Isabel Gallego, Responsible for the center, the area of occupational risk prevention, fire prevention and delegates to share views and plan proposals for improving technical deficiencies identified during the execution of the exercise. They all agreed that the result was satisfactory, improving significantly the results of the previous year.
