The ordinary plenary session in the City Council of Dénia that takes place this Wednesday afternoon has an important point regarding city planning in the city: the extension of the scope document for the drafting of the General Structural Plan of Dénia, which is valid until August of 2018 .
It is a request that is requested to finalize the environmental processing for the approval of the General Structural Plan. Maria Josep Ripoll, councilor for the territory, explained that it was in June 2016 when this document was requested for the last time.
To this extension is added the delay of the reception by the municipality of three sectoral reports (mobility, flooding and green infrastructure and landscape) requested in the month of October that "We are delaying the response of the allegations by the City Council plenary". Ripoll has stated that "As soon as we receive the three missing sector reports, we will answer the allegations of the General Structural Plan, fulfilling our commitment to approve the plan as soon as possible".
Contradictory Transitory Urban Regulations
About the transitory urban planning norms that the Conselleria has elaborated to grant licenses in the city until the General Structural Plan is approved, the councilor has informed that the conselleria has realized, from the suggestions of the Town hall, that the urbanistic norms exposed to the public are contradictory to the preliminary version of the General Structural Plan exposed to the public, since this municipal document is more faithful to the current urban reality of the city.
The councilor recalled that the urban regulations set out by the Generalitat are based on the transitory urban plan of 2013 that was annulled by the TSJ in July of 2016. For this reason, the Ministry has requested the City of Dénia reports with the aim of adapting urban standards exposed to reality that reflects the preliminary version of the General Structural Plan of Dénia.
