This is a series of lectures in which, for four days-from the 17 24 February- the researchers of the Valencian universities aboradarán related to human aspects and plant species.
The myth and reality of marijuana, By Dr. Francisco Bosch, a researcher at the Department of Physiology, Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University CEU Cardenal Herrera of Valencia, will open the series on 17.
On Friday 18 in February the conference will be given by Dr. Francisco Javier Romero, dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the CEU Cardenal Herrera University and will focus on the effect of psychoactive plants on the organism.
The third talk will take place on Tuesday February 22 and provide data on how a drug is obtained from a plant. Is responsible for providing the conference is Dr. Pilar Soriano, professor in the Department of Botany at the University of Valencia.
The lecture series will end on 24 February with the dissertation on why they are important vegetables in our diet to star responsible for the National Certification Service Plants and fungi (SEPLAN) and researcher at the Department of Physiology, Pharmacology and Toxicology CEU Cardenal Herrera University of Valencia, Isabel Martinez-Solis.
We and plants is organized by the Department of Environment of the City of Denia in collaboration with the Network of Valencian Universities for the promotion of Research, Development and Innovation (RUVID).
