Discharges to patients continue to increase and, in the last 24 hours, 125 have been registered, bringing the total number of patients cured to 14.162. The distribution by provinces is as follows: 1.674 in that of Castellón, 4.909 in that of Alicante and 7.574 in that of Valencia. To these must be added another 5 corresponding to displaced persons.
At the moment 85 people remain hospitalized throughout the Valencian Community, 9 of them in ICU: 6 in the province of Castellón, without patients in ICU; 38 in the province of Alicante, 5 of them in the ICU; and 41 in the province of Valencia, 4 of them in the ICU.
As for new positive cases, since Wednesday's update 10 cases have been detected through PCR, bringing the total number of positives to 11.441 since the pandemic began. The breakdown by province is this: 2 in Castellón (1.596 in total); 2 in Alicante (3.948 in total); and 6 in Valencia (5.893 in total). On the other hand, we must also add 4 not assigned from previous days.
Of all of them, 2.069 cases remain active, representing 11,6% of the total cases detected.
The number of discharges of health professionals is 2.270 and the total number of positives in professionals at the moment is 500.
A new coronavirus death has been reported, bringing the total to 1.466 people: 227 in the province of Castellón, 732 in the province of Valencia and 507 in the province of Alicante, which chains 10 consecutive days without registering deaths from coronavirus.
The total number of tests carried out for the detection of the coronavirus has been 405.313, of which 289.209 have been through PCR and 116.104 through rapid tests.
Updating the situation in residences
There are currently some positive cases in 36 centers (7 in the province of Castellón, 8 in that of Alicante and 21 in the province of Valencia).
