Dénia Solidaria is born to help the most disadvantaged

May 09 from 2020 - 12: 25

Dénia Solidaria is born from the hand of Javi Llull and Alex Morales. It is a project where the aim is to unite all the non-profit associations of Dénia in the web portal www.deniasolidaria.org so that each entity can have its digital window, show its initiative, expose its events and be able to access a donation area, where the amount received can go entirely to help in their respective causes.

"We are in a moment where everything is digitized, and social organizations cannot be left behind", says Javi Llull, director of the Plus Media Comunicación agency.

This project was born with a first event for this Sunday, May 10, where it is intended to raise funds for Caritas, since, according to the organization, there is a large influx of people from Dénia who are attending due to the health and economic crisis that we live.

"Many citizens of Dénia do not have to eat. This is very hard to happen in a small town like ours. We cannot look the other way when we see our neighbors without having something as essential as food ”, points out Alex Morales, manager of QFitness Gymnasium.

This event, called Solidarity Dorsal, aims to unite all citizens against a social cause of great importance.

Those who wish to participate must simply donate the amount they want, from € 1, and an email will be sent to them with a race number that must be done at home with the help of the little ones, whoever has the money.

Throughout Sunday the 10th the organization wants "Dénia is flooded" solidarity numbers. Obviously, they aim to make it "With responsibility and common sense due to the health crisis and safety distance". All those who wish to do so can participate freely and without a route, being able to do any physical activity that is desired.

“There are people who have called us saying that they are not going out for security, but that they are going to collaborate. This says a lot about the social involvement of citizens ”Llull says.

Finally, the organization wants to thank the citizens' clubs for their involvement in the project, as well as the companies that have turned to donating products to support the cause.

“This altruistic project is born to stay. We want the associations to not feel alone and have a place where they can show themselves and receive the financial aid they so badly need ”, concludes Alex Morales.
