The City Council of Dénia has collaborated with the Provincial Council of Alicante in organizing the representation of La Casa de Bernarda Alba by Federico García Lorca, to be held in the auditorium of the Social Center Dénia next 16 October, the 19.30 hours .
The performance of the play will be borne by eight women from the gypsy shantytown El Vacie of Sevilla, integrated theater company Atalaya-TNT. People barely read or write, have overcome their personal barriers in a clear example of how to move forward and break the exclusion processes.
It represents the work that was scheduled for last July but was suspended for health reasons from the main actress.
Admission is free until full capacity of the auditorium. Those interested in attending can pick up the tickets at the concierge of the Social Center of Denia, starting at noon today 12. The rest of the days, hours collection is 9 13 to 17 hours and to 20 hours.
This initiative is part of the project Scenarios for Equality that the Provincial de Alicante, developed to reflect the situation of inequality experienced by women at risk of social exclusion and promote at the same time, favorable conditions for its eradication.
