This weekend the XXXII Fair of Fires 2017 culminates in Ondara after three weekends of intense activity in the municipality. And it does it with the Matinal Motera, the Mercat de la Terra i Artesania, the Gastronomic Tasting of the Prado, the Concentració de Vehicles Clàssics, the Fira d'Atraccions and the Fira Gastronòmica.
XIV Matinal Biker and concentration of old vehicles
La XIV will be on Saturday 25 November with evening concerts on the stage located in the back of the Prado, and Sunday 26 in the morning, with the great concentration motera organized by the Ondara Custom Club.
The presentation of the Matinal Motera took place last Saturday with the presence of the Mayor of Ondara, José Ramiro, and the president of the Ondara Custom Club, Julio Seguí Peña, accompanied by members of the municipal corporation and the Ondara Custom Club. The T-shirt of the XIV, whose design has been made this year by M.ª José Vivanco Galdón, member of the Ondara Custom Club.
La XIV It will be held on Avenida Doctor Fleming, while the Concentration of Antique Vehicles will take place on the Avenida de Alicante. The trenet will serve to structure both events. Motorcycles will be parked, as they were last year, from the petrol station to the access roundabout from El Verger, and adjacent streets (including Verge de la Soledad and Segària streets). For this, Avenida Doctor Fleming will remain cut off to traffic in this section, offering a magnificent exhibition of motorcycles throughout the morning of Sunday.
Regarding the programming of the Matinal Motera, it will feature performances on the stage that will be located next to the Prado. On November 25 Saturday, at 20 hours, the concert will be offered Why Not Rock. As for the November 26 Sunday, the Matinal Motera will start at 9 hours with the opening of the inscriptions. (The ticket for the Matinal Motera will have a price of 10 euros and includes: welcome beer, commemorative t-shirt, lunch at the fair, and the typical snack gambero).
At 10 hours, the concert of the music group will take place rockabilly community. Gastronomic tasting at El Prado
La Degustació Gastronòmica al Prado (November 26 Sunday) will be held at the Prado, from 9 to 17 hours, open to the public, to taste the variety of products that will be offered at the stands that will be assembled. The dynamics will be the same as in previous years; 5 tickets will have a price of 6 euros.
The participating stands are the following: Al Teu Gust-Menjar per emportar (Ondara), Bar Plaça de Bous (Ondara); the Coqueria-Mossets Artesans (Orba), Forn del Cristo (Swedish), Fine Butcher's Shop (Sueca), Pastisseria Victòria (Ondara) and Tast'Art (Dénia).
Mercat de la Terra i Artesania
The novelty of the last fair weekend will be the Mercat de la Terra i Artesania of November 25, with the installation of the stalls inside the Prado from 10 to 20 hours (with the collaboration of the Mercat de la Terra and Crafts of La Xara).
It will have a schedule of children's activities in the morning and in the afternoon. There will be sausages, olives, cocas, costume jewelery, handicrafts, wine, soaps, beer, local vegetables, sweets, clothes, etc., with traditional, handmade and ecological elaboration. As for the children's entertainment, on Saturday from 11 to 14 hours there will be family and inflatable games, crazy gymnastics and lawn psychomotricity. Fair of Attractions and Gastronomy
In addition, the amusement fair and the gastronomic fair will continue until November 26. It should be remembered that the Fair of Attractions is installed in the public parking located at the north entrance of the urban area, on Nacions Sense Estat street. The Gastronomic Fair is being held in the establishments themselves.
