On Friday 7 in September, from the 22 hours, the Plaza del Consell hosts a new performance of the International Folklore Dance Show with the participation of the Dance Group Nagykun of Hungary.
It comes from the city of Kisújszállás, in the central region of Hungary. The group is almost twenty years old and was created by Mrs. Kata Kecskésné Herczegh, who is still its director today.
The group has investigated the songs, dances and traditions of the Hungarian people in their region and have taken them to the stage, with interpretations full of beauty and plasticity.
The members of the group are high school students, university students, young professionals and housewives. The group regularly organizes parties and common activities so it plays an important role in the life of Kisújszállás. Dances and traditions from almost all regions are presented in the whole program.
It was a special prize at the Szolnok festival. He has participated in the Kallai Dual Festival of Folk Dance and other folk festivals in Hungary and neighboring countries.
It is the first time that it participates in festivales of Spain.
