The Polytechnic University of Valencia and the dianense mountaineer, Pepe Ivars, have signed a collaboration agreement for the 2017-18 with the aim of promoting the "XIII edition of the Master of Management of Sports Entities and Companies".
Pepe Ivars, happens to be ambassador of the Master and will carry the mark in his expeditions, events and in his social networks. In this way, he will join the group of elite athletes who will be part of the Master.
The Dianense adventurer of 40 years, lives in London for more than 16 years. He is a semi-professional athlete, who has the sponsorship of the brand Wild Wolf y Cetursa Sierra Nevada.
He is a mountaineer who has made expeditions to Pakistan, Himalayas and Caucasus among other expeditions. He has Franc Beneyto as coach for more than 26 years, who prepares his preparation plans. Train an average of an hour and a half per day. Ivars declares himself a defender of clean energies and worried about climate change.
His next project "The Last Ice"
The next project that Pepe Ivars will face, is called "The last ice", Ivars with his companions, Albert Bosch, a great adventurer, and Paco Crestas, a great mountaineer, will explore the effects of climate change on the last sweet ice of the planet.
Its goal is to make a mini-series of 4 chapters to raise awareness of the impact of climate change on people's lives.
The first lake they will cross is the Great Slave, located in the remote Arctic of Canada, in the territories of the Northwest and within the Arctic Circle. Had there departed the last week of February or first of March.
Later they will make the expedition to the Altai chain in Siberia to open new routes in virgin mountains and Lake Baikal, to continue with the Ladoga and finish at the North Pole. In all of them they will make the crossings on skis (with seal skins), sleeping in tents and carrying their own sled. In total autonomy and everything in winter season where the temperatures in this parallel of the earth fall from the -30 degrees.
