This weekend, four athletes from the Athletics Club Baleària Diànium traveled to Sabadell to participate in the Spanish master mile championship, achieving two fourth places, in the M35 category by Moha Rida Younes and in the M40 by Juan Ramon Pous.
The complete results were:
- Mohamed Rida Younes Chelloubi finished 4th in M35 with 4: 44.28
- Juan Ramon Pous Perez finished 4th in M40 with 4: 33.28
- Youssef Ahatach Darbon finished 8th in M35 with 5: 00.73
- Victor Manuel Fernandez Garcia finished 9th in M50 with 4: 56.84
Autonomous Championship Sub14
Last Saturday the sub 14 regional championship took place in Castelló, where the athletes of the EMA of Dénia - CA were Baleària Diànium and they met the best athletes in the category on the regional scene.
The complete results were:
- Andreu Riera Valero finished 4th in the long jump (4.72 personal mark); he also did 37.75 in 220m hurdles
- Pablo Garcia Castrillo finished 7th in hammer throw (16.25 personal best) and 23.50 in 150m
- Ricard Perez Miró was 9th in hammer throw (12.11)
- Juan Montes Segui made 15.85 (personal best) in 80m hurdles and 6.66 in shot put
- Aitana Bertomeu Ferrer made a personal mark in 150m (22.21); she was also 8th in triple with 9.12
- Carolina Crespo Lo Mkachet made a personal best in the two tests in which she participated, 22.45 in 150m and 38.70 in 220m hurdles
- Neus Ivars Aparicio did 1: 36.20 in 500m
- Marina Bermejo Garcia did 1: 38.00 in 500m
- Amaia Garcia De La Reina Pozuelo was 10th in discus throw with 12.40
Control in Gandia
On a morning with continuous rain, the athletes of the CA Baleària Diànium went to Gandia to participate in a control.
