Under the name pamper yourselfA total of 71 students 1.º ESO IES No. 3 of Denia have become aware of the dangers and risks of alcohol consumption in their lives. This activity, carried out by its creator, Peter Roberts, uses the language of mime as a vehicle to reach young audiences.
During the show Roberts will pose daily situations that encourage critical thinking among the public, adapting preventive message to a suggestive and attractive language, from which young people can laugh and get excited while reflecting on the relationship with alcohol in their social environment.
Once the session ends, participants fill out a questionnaire about their satisfaction and other aspects such as their consumption habits and those of their friends. In this regard, in the group of IES No. 3, a 70'4% say they have never consumed alcohol and 23'9% do so occasionally.
This activity has been organized by the Community Prevention Unit in Addictive Behaviors (UPCCA) of the Department of Social Welfare and sponsored by the Provincial Council of Alicante.
