Thousands of people take to the streets to enjoy the first day of festivities in Dénia

The city wanted to party and proved it for another year, like every first Saturday of parties in Dénia. From early in the morning the streets were a coming and going of people, music and lots of fun, a sign that the festivities in honor of the Sang Santíssima they started.

The fifths of this year, accompanied by the brass band, toured the streets of the city to distribute the party books, and announcing neighborhood by neighborhood that the big festive week begins in the capital of the Marina Alta.

But undoubtedly the high point of the day came in the afternoon, when thousands of people gathered in the Calle Marques de Campo to enjoy the first entry of bulls, prior to the first show Bous a la Mar in the square of the port.
