Metrosexual, the Escola de Teatre de Pego, best work of the Mostra de Teatre

The work Metrosexual, staged by the Escola de Teatre de Pego, was chosen by vote of the public the best work of the 23 Ciutat de Teatre Mostra de Dénia, held from 6 to 15 in June in the auditorium of the Social Center of Denia.

The rest of the prizes, awarded by the jury, have been for Juanma Casero, better direction, for Women of sand, of the group Maru-jasp (Madrid); Teresa Ballester, best actress, for Tora, of Terato Teatre (Pedreguer); Mario García, best actor, for Twelve people in eight cars, from the Valencian group Flowers Machine Work and Ekilikuà (to the use of the Valencian), of Kauen Teatre, of L'Eliana.

The organization also gave a special mention to the sound technician of the Social Center, Levi Barnickel.

The jury of the Mostra, directed by Mario Passero, has been integrated by Vicent Balaguer, Paco Bertomeu, Inma Campos and Antonia Diaz.

The box office collection of the contest will go to Cáritas Interparroquial.
