The player, Melanie Neufcour belonging to the children's team of the Dénia Municipal School of basketball, he was part of the Valencian National Team that played the last preparatory tournament for the Spanish Championship of Autonomous Children's teams last weekend.
It was held in the Valencian town of Genovés under the auspices of the Federation Basketball Valencia and was attended by teams of Aragon and Catalonia. Saturday Aragon beat Valencia in the morning (48-56) and lost to Catalonia afternoon (92-29).
On Sunday the Valencians faced Catalonia but ended up losing by more difference than what was seen in the field (46-70) in the final sprint of the match.
With this event is concluded the bulk of the preparation of the Championship of Spain although this weekend will still be held again in Genovés training before moving to Zaragoza next week.
Neufcour Melanie's performance against Aragon was good participate less against the Catalan although it was equally correct.
We hope the experience is positive and both the Valencian team as the player to compete at a high level in Aragon this Easter.
