The new and brand new major falleras of Dénia, Melani Ivars and Carla Vinaroz, premiered their position this weekend in style, attending in Alicante the proclamations of the Belleas del Foc of the Bonfires festival in the capital of the province.
On Saturday night, Melani came, accompanied by the president of the Local Board Fallera, José Vicente Benavente, to the presentation and proclamation of Sofía Escoda as Bellea del Foc 2017, held in the Auditorium of the Diputación de Alicante. The major fallera of Dénia first met with other representatives of festive cities such as Elda, Elche, Xàtiva, Torrente, Alzira, Burriana, Castellón or Valencia.
On Sunday it was the turn of the children's representative, Martina Núñez, who in the same auditorium was proclaimed as Bellea del Foc Infantil de Alicante for the 2017 parties. Representing the city of Dénia, her infantile senior faller, Carla Vinaroz, accompanied by the first vice president of the Local Fallera Board, Jaume Bertomeu. Carla, like Melani, met representatives of such important cities as Castellón or Valencia.
